GTB Series Spring Edition – “A Grand Tour of Brittany”
The GTB Series Spring Edition is part of Erminig’s “Adventure & Discovery” lineup.
Our main goal is simple: helping you discover Brittany while introducing you to long-distance cycling on a route specifically adapted for gravel bikes. Even so, this adventure remains a real challenge for anyone wishing to experience multi-day bikepacking for the first time!
Running parallel to the Gravel Tro Breizh—the legendary but notoriously tough Breton event—Erminig is proud to offer an accessible alternative open to everyone.
From 2 to 9 May 2026, enjoy a route mapped out with love through Brittany, its myths, and its most iconic landmarks. On the agenda: 900 km to smoothly ease your way into long-distance riding and bikepacking.
🚴♂️ A 100% Accessible Gravel Adventure
Accessible routes designed to discover the long-distance world. A Gravel bike will be your perfect companion to roam the most beautiful corners of Brittany. Expect a mix of backroads, easy paths, and smooth tracks on an event that puts discovery and friendliness first!
- Zero Racing Mindset: Daily distances are well-balanced to ensure you have plenty of time to enjoy the Breton landscapes.
- The 2026 Checkpoints: Restaurants, bars, pubs, and crêperies will be scattered along the entire route to give you the warmest local welcome.
- Safety & Tracking: You will be equipped with a GPS tracker to ensure your safety and allow your loved ones to see exactly where you are. Since this adventure is not a competition, there will be no rankings and no final times.

An Accessible Long-Distance Adventure
For this edition, we offer a 900 km route to be completed over 8 days—which comes out to a very manageable daily average of 112 km.
The start and finish lines will be located at the exact same venue as our famous but challenging ultra-distance event: the Gravel Tro Breizh.
📍 The Base Camp: Lac de Trémelin
The Lac de Trémelin will serve as our start and finish base camp throughout the week. Located 30 km west of Rennes, the start line is easily accessible via TGV train.
While the route’s difficulty has been carefully adapted and smoothed out, it will still take you through the very same iconic places as the Gravel Tro Breizh.

The Route: Smooth Gravel Across Brittany
One Golden Rule: A Route Open to Everyone!
Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned rider, the route for this 2nd GTB Series Spring Edition is fully adapted for a Gravel bike.
The track will wind through Brittany using quiet backroads, easy paths, and smooth tracks that are highly accessible on regular gravel tires.
🪵 Adapted Difficulty, True Breton Character
While the route intentionally bypasses the grueling technical sections found on our flagship ultra-distance event, the Gravel Tro Breizh, keep one thing in mind: Brittany is far from flat!
- Gear up wisely: Choose your bike’s gearing accordingly.
- Ride stress-free: Don’t worry, the daily distances are perfectly balanced to ensure you won’t be pushed into the red, leaving you with plenty of energy to fully enjoy your journey.
🎯 The Ideal Format For You
We want to offer accessible tracks to help you discover the world of long-distance riding, whether you are less experienced or an absolute beginner. If you don’t care about racing the clock and just want to soak in the beauty of Brittany, then the GTB Series Spring Edition is your perfect match!

Discover the Best of Brittany
From its rugged coastlines and deep forests to its rolling countryside and heartland center, Brittany boasts an incredibly rich variety of landscapes.
A 900 km journey is the absolute perfect distance to discover a vast majority of these diverse settings.
To keep the magic alive, the route changes every year, allowing you to explore brand-new places. After all, one single trip is never enough to discover everything Brittany has to offer!
🪵 Scouted and Mapped with Love
As with all our events, the route is thoroughly scouted and drawn with passion. We ride here all year round—Brittany is our backyard. What better way to know every hidden gem and share it with you!

2026 Route – Heading South!
After exploring Northern Brittany, this year we are heading south! And since Brittany is surrounded by numerous islands… after visiting Ouessant during our 1st edition, we are taking you to a brand-new island!
Belle-Île is on the agenda for 2026. While this island detour is completely optional, it would be a shame to miss out on the Pointe des Poulains, the Aiguilles de Port-Coton, and everything else that makes Brittany’s largest island so breathtakingly beautiful.
🌊 From River Valleys to the Atlantic Coast
- The Inland Escape: The route will first take you along the beautiful Vilaine valley, heading down toward the Loire-Atlantique region.
- The Ocean Shoreline: Next, you will ride through the stunning Gulf of Morbihan, continuing your journey along the Atlantic coast and the wild shores of Morbihan and Southern Finistère.
- The Jewel of the West: Of course, Crozon will not be forgotten! The absolute gem of Brittany will treat you to endless ocean views all along the peninsula.
🪵 The Return Through the Heartland
Your journey back will take you right through Central Brittany, crossing iconic landscapes such as the mystical Monts d’Arrée, the scenic Lac de Guerlédan, and the legendary Brocéliande Forest.
So, tempted by this journey of adventure and discovery? Don’t wait too long to secure your spot!
